The best interval of taking singing lessons is one week apart. You also have to realize that without every day practice you probably wasting your time and money on the singing lessons. Remember, practicing only gets difficult if you start skipping it. Stay with it on daily basis and you will see that your hard work and dedication will bring an amazing results.

  4. Be very detailed oriented and write teachers comments down.

We all know how to sing per say. But learning how to sing properly and furthermore how to get the most beautiful and strong sound out of your voice – this is when you need a professional instruction. You need to learn how to breath properly, how to control your voice, how to use head and chest voice and etc. All this requires attention to the details and regular notes. After the lesson (or sometimes throughout the class) take notes of what your home work is this week and what you are working on at the moment. This way you have all your materials for your future references after you are done taking the lessons. Also this system helps you to keep track of your progress.

  5. Record yourself singing and listen to it on regular basis.

The longer you are taking lessons the better you will be able to hear what needs to be corrected. Recording also helps to register the progress. At our school you will get your Recital Video recordings for free.
